Women will be coming together this month to honor ladies in our community who always step up to help other women.
The YWCA of Northwest Louisianais hosting its Women Who Care, Share Luncheon on Thursday, August 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1pm. It’s being held at Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino.
This years event will feature a panel discussion from several local women who have worked tirelessly to help women face the challenges that are unique to ladies who struggle to face today’s demands. The YWCA promotes a vital mission in our community to “eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.”
What Is the Theme of the Event?
This year’s theme, “100 Years of Empowering Women”, highlights challenges faced by women in employment, the value of being a part of organizations, and the future of young women. You are encouraged to attend this special event and bring a friend to help raise funds for the YWCA.
