Police seek answers after two dogs, including puppy, found abandoned with signs of neglect

A Colorado law enforcement agency is looking for answers after two dogs were found abandoned near Pioneer Elementary in Parker off of Riva Ridge.

According to a report from Parker Police Department, the only information provided is that someone in a white pick-up truck with a topper reportedly dropped the dogs off at about 8:30 a.m. on August 6 and drove away with the driver described as a white middle-aged male of average build.

One of the dogs is an adult female, with the other being a six-month-old puppy. Neither dog had a microchip that could provide clues in the case and both showed signs of neglect. Both dogs are now being cared for at an animal shelter…
