PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) – A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with a shooting Tuesday afternoon on the 100 block of Henderson Street, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities said officers responded around 4:17 p.m. on Aug. 5 after the town’s ShotSpotter system detected gunfire. When they arrived, they found several spent shell casings at Henderson and Wilson streets, along with bullet holes in a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Video footage from the area led investigators to identify the suspect. The teen faces multiple second-degree charges, including conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, aggravated assault for firing a handgun at a victim, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a handgun without a permit.
