From August 27 to 29, Gainesville locals can “serve time” with a rescue animal to help raise funds for shelter pets.
The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is inviting the community to lock themselves in for love — literally. From August 27 to 29, the shelter will host its Adoption Lock-In, a playful but purposeful fundraiser where participants spend a day in a kennel with one of the shelter’s adoptable animals. While “serving time” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., each participant works to raise “bail money” that will directly support food, medical care, and other resources for homeless pets in the area.…
