COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — More than four years after the tragic death of her daughter, Seneca Ridley is keeping her memory alive through food and community advocacy.
Ridley is running the Soul Crave food truck, a business she had planned to operate with her 17-year-old daughter, Makenzi, who had saved up to buy the truck in 2021.
“It was a dream of Makenzi’s, I told her I would get it for her after graduation,” Ridley said.
Tragically, just weeks after Makenzi graduated from high school, she was shot and killed in June 2021 at a teen gathering at the Far East Rec Center…
