Reported fentanyl exposure at Boyd County Detention Center leaves deputy in critical condition

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) — Three deputies have been treated for a reported fentanyl exposure at the Boyd County Detention Center.

The Franklin County Jail extended its condolences on Friday afternoon, Aug. 8.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and Boyd County Detention Center as three of their deputies have come into contact with suspected fentanyl among other chemicals,” jail officials wrote.
