Report: Four TN National Guard armories burglarized

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A memo published by the news magazine “Wired” states a string of break-ins at National Guard armories around Tennessee may be connected and linked to extremist groups.

FOX13 has confirmed one of the break-ins happened at the armory in Covington, though investigators there were not aware of a memo linking the crime to extremism.

“I don’t know where that memo would have gone, but I can tell you that we definitely had a burglary and it was in October,” Chief Donna Turner of the Covington Police Department said…
