Metro Nashville schools look into adding weapon detectors to more schools

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Metro Nashville School Board has voted to install weapons detection systems in high schools following the tragic shooting at Antioch High School last year, which claimed the life of a student.

The systems, known as Evolv, were phased into all high schools before the end of the last school year, contributing to a smoother start this year, according to Metro Schools.
