Condo market cooling signals a buyer-friendly shift post COVID

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — The condo market in Horry County, which is a significant segment of the local real estate market, is seeing some notable changes this summer.

According to the June 2025 Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors market report, there was a 29.6% increase in the number of days condos remain on the market across South Carolina, with Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach seeing increases in the 40% range.
