2 accused of waiting hours to take child who ate THC gummies to hospital in Horry Co.

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Two people are facing charges after being accused of not quickly getting a child who ate THC gummies medical treatment.

The Horry County Police Department charged Michael Clark and Alysha Clark each with unlawful conduct toward a child, jail records show.

Documents state that the 5-year-old child ate 150 milligrams of THC gummies around 9 a.m. Wednesday, while at the 100 block of Vaught Place in the Myrtle Beach area.

According to the documents, medical staff said this amount could have seriously harmed or killed the child…
