TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Community leaders and elected officials took to the water on Wednesday to get a first hand look at one of our region’s greatest natural resources, Lake Erie, as we mark 11 years since the Toledo Water crisis.
They discussed what’s causing issues in the lake and what can be done to address them, as the Lake Erie Water Keepers strive to find the solutions to harmful algal blooms, excess phosphorus and more.
