A 21-year-old Chicago man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after an officer found him passed out behind the wheel at an intersection in Countryside early July 19, police said.
An officer on patrol spotted a vehicle parked diagonally across the intersection of 58th Street and Rose Avenue at 2:08 a.m., according to police. The driver, identified as Andrew A. Lukanus, was unconscious with the car in drive and his foot on the brake.
The officer placed the vehicle in park, removed the keys and woke Lukanus. He showed signs of alcohol intoxication, failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody without incident, police said…
