New Chick-fil-A proposed in Palmer Township

PALMER TWP., Pa. – Residents in Palmer Township might not have to drive as far for their fix of Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and other menu favorites.

A new restaurant is being proposed at the location of the former Rite Aid at 601 S. 25th St.

Tuesday, the Palmer Township Planning Commission will review a proposal to demolish the now-vacant pharmacy and construct a 5,500-square-foot Chick-fil-A with two drive-thru lanes and 72 parking spaces…
