FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio (WJW) — It’s been 48 years since 17-year-old Yvonne Regler vanished without a trace, and Fairview Park police said they’re not giving up.
“We constantly work on this investigation,” Police Chief Paul Shepard said. “We owe it to her, her family, and the rest of the citizens of Fairview Park.”

Yvonne was last seen on Aug. 8, 1977 while working her shift at the Sunoco gas station on Lorain Road. Shepard said she didn’t have a car, so coworkers dropped her off and were planning to pick her up later that day.
“Basically, her job was to pump gas and take care of customers,” said Shepard.
But sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., Yvonne disappeared…
