RUTLAND — On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at approximately 8:13 a.m., Rutland Police Officer Brent Carpenter was conducting stationary school zone enforcement on Main Street when he observed a vehicle traveling eastbound at a speed he estimated to be well above the posted 20 mph limit.
