COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – WIS has learned more about what a woman reportedly did to escape an attempted kidnapping in the Midlands.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said Timothy Ulness was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and kidnapping after an incident that happened on Aug. 2.
RCSD said Ulness allegedly hit the victim with his car while she was riding her bicycle on Miles Road. Ulness then reportedly got out of his car and began assaulting the victim, hitting her in the face and putting her in a chokehold.
He then allegedly tried dragging her to his vehicle before the victim fought back and broke free, after which Ulness drove away in his vehicle…
