Ford’s electric pickup truck launch delayed to 2028

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Ford Motor Company is in the process of producing its new electric pickup trucks at BlueOval City; however, a mass production delay has pushed back the launch date to 2028, instead of 2027.

The company made a similar announcement back in August of 2024.

Despite the latest delay, a Ford spokesperson told WREG that the prototype builds are still scheduled for 2027…
