Cause of death revealed for man found at St. Michael business

The cause of death for a man reported missing in Rogers and found in St. Michael has been released.

According to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, 30-year-old Maurice Jackson of Minneapolis died of probable hypothermia caused by “environmental cold exposure while under the influence of methamphetamine.” The death was ruled an accident.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office discovered Jackson’s body at a business in St. Michael the morning of May 27. Several days later, the Rogers Police Department reported that the body had been identified as the missing person who was reportedly last seen March 7 near 141st Ave. N. in Rogers, “near the gravel pit and Crow River.”…
