HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF/Gray News) – Police in Alabama say a father and his 1-year-old son, whose bodies were found after a house fire, died before the fire in what was determined to be a murder-suicide.
Firefighters responded to a call for a house fire around 3 p.m. Tuesday in Huntsville. Dominic Kane Tucker, 21, and his son, who was just one month shy of turning 2, were found dead in a bedroom at the home, according to police.
Police later determined the incident was a murder-suicide. They say evidence at the scene and autopsy results from the Alabama Department of Forensics confirmed both victims died from gunshot wounds before the fire. A firearm recovered at the scene was determined to be the weapon used…
