Heat and humidity return starting on Sunday across Southern New England.
Winds will turn out of the south and southwest on Sunday and Monday, pushing in a warmer and more humid airmass.
High temperatures on Sunday will reach the mid-to-upper 80s inland away from the immediate south coast.
It heats up even more on Monday, with highs back into the low 90s. Humidity also increases the next few days, which will make it feel more uncomfortable to be outdoors.
Inland Southern New England is potentially looking at a heat wave to start the work week Monday through Wednesday, with low 90s expected each day.
