The Buzz: Jolly Giant Flea Market to close after North Coast recycling firm buys building

After more than 40 years in business as one of the larger swap meets north of Sacramento, Jolly Giant Flea Market will close its doors at the end of this year.

The decision comes after Hambro Recycling recently purchased the Eastside Road warehouse building that Jolly Giant used. The flea market opened on April 21, 1980.
