Tava House Project Under Construction

Construction on the long-anticipated Tava House project in Woodland Park is moving forward, recent posts from the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department show. The multi-use development, being built at 201 Saddle Club Avenue, will feature a steakhouse, taphouse, culinary school, and event center.

Founder and World Master Chef Victor Matthews told What Now Denver the goal is to open the facility in March. According to Citizen Portal, the project takes up a 6.63-acre section of downtown Woodland Park and will be completed in four phases. Phase one began last year.

The two-story facility will have three distinct areas: a downstairs pour-your-own draft beer section with elevated bar food, an upstairs fine-dining steakhouse called Firebrand, and a banquet/event hall. Firebrand will also act as a satellite campus for Matthews’ Paragon Culinary School. Food and beverage offerings will span from burgers and house-made charcuterie to premium steaks and multi-course fine dining experiences…
