TSA rolls out major change at Colorado airport that could make traveling a lot easier

Colorado’s biggest airport has become the latest to roll out a major Transportation Security Administration (TSA) change, offering a new type of security lane aimed at speeding up the screening process.

TSA PreCheck Touchless ID lanes are now available at Denver International Airport’s East and West security checkpoints. The new lanes are open to PreCheck flyers on Alaska, American, Delta and United who have opted in ahead of time with their airline.

It makes Denver the 14th airport in the United States to offer touchless security lanes. It comes as TSA warns of 3 things that could see you fined, removed and arrested amid the busy summer travel period.

“We are pleased to be among a select group of airports in the U.S. rolling out this new option for TSA PreCheck travellers for a quicker, more convenient screening experience,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said. “We are grateful for our partnership with TSA and their commitment to improving the security screening process for travellers while maintaining the highest levels of safety and security.”
