Vacant house fire under investigation in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany Fire Department is currently on the scene of a structure fire that broke out at a vacant home on Sunday. The incident was reportedly located at 451 Hamilton Street, between Quail Street and Ontario Street.

According to fire chief Joseph Gregory, the Albany Fire Department was dispatched to the empty house just before 3:30 p.m. and arrived three minutes later. Upon arrival, crews reportedly found the fire in the first floor of the two-story wood-frame structure, with flames extending to the second floor and attic.

The fire was reportedly brought under control just after 4 p.m. No injuries were reported.
