Allegedly stolen car found in West Alexandria; two in court

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A 31-year-old man was arrested after an allegedly stolen vehicle was found near West Alexandria in mid-June.

According to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office, officials discovered the vehicle, from Connersville, Indiana, with its VIN plate and other identifiers removed.

The investigation found the vehicle was traded to a 47-year-old man from West Alexandria by a 31-year-old man from West Alexandria.

Both men were indicted for the following:

  • Receiving stolen property. (4th-degree felony.)
  • Criminal damaging or endangering. (2nd-degree misdemeanor.)
