Sunday was another pleasant day, at least for early August. While the day began with a deck of low clouds overhead in east Alabama, the sky was partly cloudy during the afternoon. Outside of a few brief, stray showers, our area was mainly dry during the afternoon. Despite sunshine and a lack of rain, high temperatures were only in the 80s in most locations, well below average for early August.
Saturday night looks partly cloudy and dry with lows in the low 70s. Sunday’s weather looks very similar to Saturday. The sky becomes partly cloudy during the afternoon, with a handful of spotty showers or storms and high temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s.
