1400 women come to Minneapolis to compete in the country’s largest women-only triathlon

Cowbells, blowhorns, and broke through the air early Sunday morning at Lake Nokomis, where 1400 women were competing in the YWCA Minneapolis Women’s Triathlon.

According to organizers, the record-breaking number of participants made it the largest women-only triathlon in the United States.
