A man died and another was injured in a crash on I-277 in Uptown on Saturday morning. QC News reported the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. near Exit 1E, close to Bank of America Stadium.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police reported a crash on I-277 involving a red 2006 Honda Civic and a black 1996 Ford Explorer. The driver of the Honda, 32-year-old Peter Jacob Didier, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to WCNC.
