Massachusetts State Police’s leader was asked about the persistent online rumors about the possibility of a serial killer in New England, with the head of the agency saying there’s not evidence at this time of one — but he is “tracking” the cases that have led to the speculation.
The comments by MSP Col. Geoffrey Noble were published Sunday in the Boston Herald, which sat down with the top state trooper recently at MSP headquarters in Framingham.
“As a former homicide detective, certainly I am tracking the news of these tragic deaths,” Noble told the Herald. “There is no evidence to indicate that there is a serial killer at the moment.”…
