‘These kids have changed my life’: Amarillo Children’s Home weighs in on group home resources

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo Children’s Home has been operating for over a century, providing group home resources to kids in foster care.

“So right now we currently have 31 kids in our care that are all in foster care right now. We work closely with Saint Francis Ministries, which is also another organization. And they refer children to us. We’ll accept them, and then we keep them for essentially however long we can meet their needs or however long their case may take to close out,” said Kylee Khan-Spinks, Amarillo Children’s Home.
