Little Rock, Ark. – Afternoon and early evening storms are expected to be a near-daily occurrence across Arkansas this week, with the potential for heavy downpours and localized flooding in some areas. According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely each afternoon through Sunday. Most areas will see rainfall totals between a quarter and three-quarters of an inch, but slow-moving or multiple storms in a day could lead to much higher amounts.
