Auburn, Nebraska Man Arrested for Alleged Theft in Greenfield

An Auburn, Nebraska man was arrested for an alleged incident in Greenfield last week.

According to court documents, 23 year old Colin Haynes was seen at Greenfield City Park on August 3rd by three other individuals in the park. The three witnesses told law enforcement that about 11:25pm, a white Ford car with no license plates, a missing front bumper, and a “student driver” sticker on the rear bumper stopped at the restroom facilities, and an individual – later identified as Haynes – went in, and then later returned to the car and left the park.

Court documents show that law enforcement eventually found the vehicle at the Casey’s General Store parking lot in Greenfield. The criminal complaint states that the vehicle was reported stolen from Lincoln, Nebraska and Haynes, along with his passenger Tricia Daniels, claimed to not know that the car was stolen…
