WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is a stormy start to the day. However, most areas will be dry by midday, if not sooner and the day ahead appears quiet and cooler. Afternoon temperatures in the lower 80s are ten degrees below normal for middle August.
An isolated shower or storm cannot be ruled out tonight and early Tuesday, but areas will stay dry. Clearing skies tomorrow will allow temperatures to climb into the upper 80s.
The remainder of the week, and this weekend looks mostly dry with a warming trend. Highs in the near normal lower 90s on Wednesday and Thursday will be followed by middle 90s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday…
