Abandoned Chihuahuas found outside Albany kennel seek new home

Two Chihuahuas are in need of a new home after being dropped off anonymously at Pinebush Kennels on New Karner road in Albany. According to Eric Miller, the kennel’s owner, the dogs were discovered in a crate inside an outdoor run on Monday morning.

Miller says someone got in through a fence which was left unlocked. They then left the dog crate inside an unlocked run. Miller says the crate contained food and water, and the dogs appeared healthy.

They had no name tags and no message was left behind. Colonie Police say the smaller “pup” was wearing a gray harness and pink leash. The only other item in the crate was a red bag with sawdust residue, Miller said…
