Man who crashed stolen car in Albany gets up to 4 years in prison

ALBANY (WNYT) — A man from Troy who led police on a chase and crashed his stolen truck in Albany last year is heading to prison.

Tequan Grimes was sentenced on Monday to 2 to 4 years in prison, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.

The incident began around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 15, 2024. Albany Police said officers tried to stop Grimes for running a red light. He ignored commands and sped down Clinton Avenue at around 60 mph, according to police…
