HUDSON, Ohio (WOIO) – Hudson police has released body cam after an officer shot a suspect armed with a hammer on Thursday.
The video shows officers confronting the suspect at 4:00am near Stoney Hill Drive in Hudson. The suspect is walking towards officers, yelling at them while holding a hammer. He can be heard telling the officer to “accept god”, and “pull your gun and shoot me”.
The officer repeatedly tells the suspect to stop walking and to put the hammer down. The suspect declines, continuing toward the officer…
