BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One person died after a fiery off-road vehicle crash near Highway 178 Sunday night.
Officers were dispatched to fields south of the 11000 block of Highway 178 at about 8 p.m., according to the Bakersfield Police Department. At the scene, officers found firefighters extinguishing a fire from an vehicle that crashed and ignited grass nearby.
