(Cleveland)- White County Fire Services has announced the graduation of four recruits from Firefighter I during a joint ceremony hosted by Lumpkin County Emergency Services on Friday, August 8.
A news release from White County Public Safety said the ceremony, held at the Bridge Church in Dahlonega, marked the successful completion of rigorous training by twelve recruits from both White and Lumpkin Counties, including White County’s Dakotah Allison, Bryce Barrett, Collins Dunn, and Nathan Reichert.
The Firefighter I class began training in March of this year, with instruction hosted by Lumpkin County Emergency Services. Over the course of the program, students completed National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials Awareness, and Hazardous Materials Operations. The Firefighter I certification included classroom instruction, practical exercises, and live fire training, all designed to physically and mentally prepare recruits to serve in real-world emergency environments…
