Trial begins for Knoxville woman accused in 2023 fatal drag race crash

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The trial for a Knoxville woman accused in a fatal 2023 Magnolia Avenue drag race began on Monday. The crash killed a grandfather and injured his two grandchildren.

Trinity Clark and Trashawn Glass were both accused of drag racing, with Glass pleading guilty in 2024. Monday began with a jury selection of seven men and seven women, followed by opening arguments from the state and defense.
