Martin County deputies seek help identifying women in $100K bank fraud incident

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A call from “the bank” ended with a $100,000 cashier’s check in the hands of two unidentified women investigators suspect of being tied to a larger scheme.

On July 1, a resident was contacted by two unidentified women who claimed to be from her bank’s fraud department, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).
