An air quality health advisory will be in effect today for the Long Island region and New York City Metro regions, where air will be unhealthy for sensitive groups.
The air quality index is expected to reach 101 in the Long Island Region and 112 in the New York City Metro Region. The advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
