Tesla finds Lubbock County landing place for statewide titles, bringing nearly $10 million into county

Tesla will bring almost $10 million dollars to Lubbock County as the automaker found a West Texas home for processing new vehicle titles after getting kicked out of Travis County for statewide title transactions.

“Tesla is very ready to get an agreement. They need something done and they need something done quick. They have a backlog of approximately 5,000 transactions,” said Ronnie Keister, the county’s tax assessor collector last week.
