Warming soon, but not 100s

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – After some beneficial rainfall over the weekend, drier and warmer weather is soon to return. Highs will likely return to the 90s later this week, but most if not all of Kansas will remain out of the 100s.

Chances for storms will remain south of Wichita along the Kansas/Oklahoma state line through the night. Dry weather is likely on Tuesday, but a rogue shower may pop up in the heat of the afternoon. Highs will remain in the 80s.

Later this week, highs will be warming back into the 90s and it will also be turning more humid. Some of the highest humidity will be in place Thursday, so it may feel like closer to 100 degrees…
