Suspect accused of killing SW Kansas man faced a judge

SEDGWICK COUNTY — A suspect accused in a fatal shooting in Wichita made his first court appearance in the case on Friday.

Ricardo Talavera, 41, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and interference with a law enforcement officer, according to the Sedgwick. County District Attorney’s office.
