TEHACHAPI, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County firefighters are extinguishing a vegetation fire in the Tehachapi area, just east of the Highway 58 Sand Canyon exit. Five to ten acres have already been burned, with a moderate rate of speed.
Forward progress of the fire has been stopped.
