BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — When the sun sets, the Buffalo Zoo transforms into a glowing prehistoric playground for the fourth annual Zoomagination Lantern Festival.
The event features around 40 larger-than-life lantern displays scattered throughout the zoo grounds, creating a magical experience for visitors after dark. According to Christian Dobosiewicz, communications manager at the Buffalo Zoo, setting up the displays takes about a month.
“We covered pretty much the entire zoo grounds with these larger-than-life displays. It takes about a month to set up. So, we started setting up around the end of June, beginning of July. And we kicked it off on July 30. It’s going to run until Oct. 5,” Dobosiewicz said…
