CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A company withdrew its request Monday to build a private dock on the Ashley River that some said would have restricted public waterfront access.
The Beach Company had applied for the permit with the intent to make the dock accessible for residents of the Jasper Luxury Housing Complex, which is an apartment complex that sits off Broad Street.
