NEWBERRY, Fla. (WCJB) – Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) officials responded to a reported sinkhole near a roadway in western Alachua County on Monday.
Officials say the sinkhole opened near Southwest 46th Avenue and State Road 45 in the area of Newberry.
They estimate the sinkhole is 6 feet wide and 20 feet deep. It isn’t impacting the roadway…
