Burma Center celebrates $100K investment in Southwest Michigan students

BATTLE CREEK, Mich — The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) is partnering with the Burma Center to celebrate more than $100,000 in state funding that supported over 100 students in this year’s THRIVE Summer Youth Program.

The funding came from the Section 32n Out-of-School Time Grant, which blends academic support, STEAM education and social-emotional learning with field trips and Burmese-language instruction.
