Ahead of closing, Axes & Ales blames Rochester’s security policies for decline in sales

An East End bar that plans to close at the end of the month is blaming Rochester’s security policies for a decline in sales.

The owner of Axes & Ales said the security checkpoints that Rochester Police hold in the East End district have cut Saturday business sales by 47%.
